The
Stinger comes ready to use. Simply
pull/slide the Stinger across the
road. It will automatically open and
expand. After the suspect drives
over the Stinger, just pull the
rope, the spike unit will come off
the road in one piece. There is no flying
debris for patrol vehicles to dodge
or for officers to clean up.

tire diameters require different
spike angles! The Stinger's hollow
spikes automatically adjust to the correct
angle for maximum penetration. Test

deflates BOTH front tires (and more rear

officer simply removes the device from his
pocket, opens it up, and places it under
the suspect's tire. If the suspect
attempts to flee, the Rat Trap II
will quickly deflate the tire with
stainless steel Stinger spikes. Within
moments, the slower speed of the vehicle
will force the suspect to stop.
